In the fall of 2021, the Yarmouth School Committee appointed a Strategic Planning Team to develop a proposed plan to guide the work of the schools for the next five years. The Team has reviewed a great deal of data from within and beyond the Yarmouth Schools, received input from members of the community through an on-line survey, and held staff meetings at each school to inform their discussions throughout this school year. The Team has created a draft document that is now ready for review by the school community.
First, we are providing a link to the draft document for your consideration. After reading, please respond to the survey linked here by Tuesday, April 12 at 4:00 p.m. The Team will review this input at an upcoming meeting.
Second, we will hold a Community Forum on Tuesday, April 12 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Yarmouth Elementary School. At the forum, we will share the core components of the plan and provide attendees the opportunity to share their reactions in both a small group and large group format.
