Welcome to PreK sign

On December 9, 2021, the School Committee heard a presentation from Director of Teaching and Learning, Shanna Crofton, and Rowe School Principal, Susan Lobel, proposing the addition of Pre-kindergarten programming for up to 96 students starting the fall of 2022. You may view the presentation here.

The adoption of a public pre-K option will not be finalized until funding is secured, which will require voter approval of the annual budget. Important meetings for members of the public to vote on the budget will be the Town Budget Meeting on June 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Yarmouth High School, and the Budget Referendum, where citizens cast their ballots on the school budget throughout the day of June 14 at Yarmouth High School.
