Many thanks to our maintenance team for getting the sidewalks, playground, and parking lots ready for the opening of school at 10 AM this morning! The grounds were safe for our students and staff (the trees were beautiful, too).
MONDAY, JANUARY 29: There will be a two-hour delay to the start of schools in Yarmouth. There will be no morning Pre-K. Buses will run two hours later than usual, and the school day will end at the regular time.
There will be a two-hour delay to the start of school in Yarmouth on Thursday, January 25 while crews clean up from the overnight icing. There will be no morning PreK. Buses will run two hours later than normal. The school day will end at the normal time.
Silly stringing and pie-ing continued today at HMS as part of the PTO's Glow Run fundraiser! Senora Monroe was a trooper today during a pie-ing by Reed, a seventh-grader. Loads of fun!
Another great battle was had at HMS today between 6th grader, Lily, and Mr. Wheeler! Way to go, HMS, with the Glow Run Fundraiser!
Mr. Hagerty received the first Glow Run "pie-ing" of the season today - so much fun! Way to go, HMS!
Yarmouth Schools will dismiss early on Tuesday, January 16.
YHS and HMS will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
YES/Rowe will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
Morning PreK will follow its regular schedule. There will be no afternoon PreK.

HMS will celebrate Flannel Friday on January 19 in support of JDRF! More information will be shared on Tuesday.
What a wonderful Jazz Night at HMS tonight! Our 6th and 7th/8th grade jazz bands played masterfully in front of the largest Jazz Night crowd that we can ever remember. Thank you to our musicians and our fearless band director, Mr. Snow, for a wonderful evening!
Our School Nutrition staff is the best. Taco Tuesday was a hit!
Our girls' basketball teams hosted the teams from Whittier Middle School in Poland today in a pair of spirited games. Our 7th-grade team is pictured here in action!
Congratulations to Mr. Callahan, Ms. Harber, and Mrs. Found on their YEF grant for telescopes to support astronomy learning! Many, many thanks to YEF for supporting our 6th-grade students. We look forward to seeing the results on a future "Starry Night"!

Our Instructional Support staff set up a visit today with Lily, a local therapy dog, for several of our students. Thank you to Mr. Stanton and Mr. Higgins for their work in making this visit happen today!
