Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our students demonstrated positive energy, enthusiasm, and school pride during our Spirit Week celebration! We have been impressed by their whimsical ideas for decorating doorways with biome themes, their creative outfits, and most importantly, their kindness and support of others. They have also done a wonderful job fundraising for the 4Ocean organization. More on that soon!

Our students’ efforts this week are a direct reflection of long-time Principal Bruce Brann’s leadership and focus on positive school culture and spirit. We greatly appreciate your support as we remember our inspiring leader, mentor, and friend, and the school that he built with a passion for, and understanding of, middle school students. The lessons we learned from Bruce have been with all of us since his retirement. These lessons remain with us as a school and community who loved and valued him so much, and recognized his gifted leadership, along with his genuine and caring nature. We are holding his wife Gayle, and his son Garrett close in our hearts.
