April 13, 2018

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is an exciting and busy time at HMS as our 5th grade students begin their Great American Unit, 6th graders completed their World’s Fair presentations, 7th grade students work to finish up their Genius Hour projects and our 8th graders prepare for the upcoming Civil Rights work! Our students will benefit from some downtime next week to rest and play so they can return to HMS ready to dig in!

A message from our PTO: Looking Ahead to PTO Leadership 2018/2019

The PTO will have new leadership next year and is looking for volunteers to serve as board members and committee chairs. There are a variety of positions that can work around your schedule and fit your interests including: Digital Coordinator; Volunteer Coordinator; Team Welcome; Close Buy; Directory; Circus Maine; Parent/Family Education and more. If you are interested, or just have a few questions, please contact Heather Meier and Christy Hayashida at YarmouthPTO04096@gmail.com.

If you are not looking for a leadership position at this time, but would like to get involved, click the link below to fill out our quick survey to indicate your interests. This does not obligate you; it just gives you a chance to share how you might like to help our school community.
